November 13-17, 2024

We are hosting our first family and discipleship convention! We hope you will join us for 5 days of fun, fellowship, and discipleship training!

Jared will be speaking on many different topics related to family, personal discipleship, and the good news of Christ. The goal of this convention is to encourage, equip, and connect God’s people. We want you to leave with new tools and insight for the sanctification of your family, church, and society as a whole.

We will also be having fun events throughout the week, including volleyball, family game nights, bonfires, and a gospel bluegrass concert.

Register for the conference here, then go to Salmon Lake Park page to book your accommodations: a cabin, RV site, or tent site.

About the Concert

Saturday November 16th 7:00-9:00

East Mountain Bluegrass Band

Meet The Band

East Mountain Bluegrass began in 1994 with Art Mauldin, Mike & Julie Tucker serving at the HiWay 80 Rescue Mission in Longview, TX. The band has continued to serve every month on the third Monday for the past 29 years. Originating as an all bluegrass gospel band, East Mountain continues to sing gospel music along with bluegrass and familiar tunes, using acoustic instruments. Lynn Gray and Dennis Clute play regularly with the band and are joined by special guest Anthony Bonnette from time to time.

“East Mountain & Friends” (as well as Mike Tucker & Friends) became a popular Friday night event at The Gladewater Opry for over 20 years. With East Mountain being the host band, friends from all over the region as well as nationally, would round out a full evening of bluegrass and gospel music.

NOTE: Want to come just Saturday? Day passes to concert are available. You must pay the one day conference registration ($10 single & $20 family) PLUS Salmon Lake day park pass ($5/person/day).

Please bring your own camping chairs. You will need them!
